Officially founded in 1963, the Caloundra Cricket Club has provided the opportunity for men and women to participate in Australia’s favourite pastime for over 50 years. The club is a proud member of the Sunshine Coast Cricket Association and fields teams in both the Senior and Junior Competitions. The current club is based at Roy Henzell Oval at Henzell Park on Lewis Street in the Caloundra Sporting Precinct.
Only minutes from both Kings and Golden Beach the Caloundra Cricket Club home base includes two turf wickets, clubhouse and bar, net facilities with the main oval able to host night games due to fantastic lighting. The two playing fields are used right throughout the year by the clubs members, touring teams and various other groups (if you would like to enquire about booking a field please contact club secretary ; find their details in contact us).
The club has a great Junior Cricket program starting with the In2Cricket Program for boys and girls aged 5-8 and progressing into junior cricket from U10’s to 16’s. In 2013 Caloundra has fielded 11 Junior teams; the 2nd most in the Sunshine Coast Competition. If you have children who are interested in playing cricket contact Club Secretary or Junior Coordinator; find their details in contact us.
Traditionally a stalwart in the Sunshine Coast Grade Competition the Caloundra Cricket Club currently has 5 teams playing in varying grades. If you are interested in playing senior cricket contact Club Secretary (find their details in contact us).
